About
Whiskey Valor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that uses single barrels of whiskey and bourbon to raise funds and awareness in support of veterans and their families, while also promoting mental health and responsible drinking initiatives. We partner with fellow veteran-serving organizations to support their missions and include custom limited-edition challenge coins with each bottle.
In 2026, we will officially launch the "Whiskey Valor Distillery Tasting Series," bringing distilleries in person or via Zoom to guide veterans and community partners through a curated lineup of whiskeys. These events will also serve as educational opportunities, highlighting the brands and upcoming releases. In collaboration with fellow nonprofits, we will enhance attendee experiences by offering programs such as CPR and AED training during Heart Health Month in February, and showcasing the healing power of music through guitar sessions.
Our programming at Whiskey Valor includes Wellness Retreats and the RideShare Initiative. Our first Wellness Retreat is scheduled for May 2026, where we will send 25 veterans, at no cost to them, to spend a week in Colorado—growing as individuals and returning home better than when they arrived.
The RideShare Initiative aims to reduce and ultimately eliminate DUIs within the military community. Initially, we will offer vouchers for reduced rides, with the goal of one day fully covering the cost. We will monitor usage by checking in with members who use the service regularly, discussing their planning before going out. If we discover that issues like PTSD, relationship problems, financial stress, or other factors are driving them to drink, we will provide resources and support to help address these underlying issues—so they are not turning to alcohol in times of need.
We recognize that veterans and service members are drinking, so we have chosen to meet them where they are—providing resources, education, and support to promote responsible choices.
